Congratulations to our Year 6 children on their recent results in the End of Key Stage 2 tests.
83% achieved the expected standard in reading compared to 73% nationally. 32% of our children achieved the higher standard.
85% achieved the expected standard in Maths compared to 79% nationally. 50% of our children achieved the higher standard.
87% achieved the expected standard in Grammar, Punctuation and spelling compared to 78% nationally. 63% of our children achieved the higher standard.
93% achieved the expected standard in writing teacher assessment compared to a national average of 78%. 18% of our children achieved the higher standard.
This resulted in 80% of our pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths compared to 65% of children who achieved this expected measure nationally.
Our progress scores for 2019 were-0.9 reading, -0.6 writing and 0.7 maths.
The average scaled scores for reading were 106 (national 104) and Maths 108 (national 105) and grammar, punctuation and spelling 110 (national 106).
