Safeguarding

If you are concerned about a child please speak to a member of school staff urgently. We are 'a telling school' and encourage our pupils and all members of our community to speak out when they have worries or concerns so that everyone can be supported to be safe and happy.

If you have a concern in relation to safeguarding or child protection please ask the office to direct you to the school's safeguarding team who are specifically trained to support in this area.

Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility and if you have a concern it is important that you share it so that we can help pupils and their families. We take confidentiality very seriously.

If you are unsure about whether you should be concerned about something you have seen, the NSPCC website below gives some useful information, along with our safeguarding policy – but we would always encourage you to have a conversation with our safeguarding team in the first instance.

In an emergency call 999.

Wokingham Children's Services are also here to help families with concerns in relation to the safety or welfare of children.
